Greetings family,

We are gathered at Charlie and Connie's for Thanksgiving. Also here are Claire, Carlton, Colleen and Carley Rubin and their children Anders now 2 1/2 and Nolan 10 1/2 mo and Casey and Angie and little Connor 4 months.

We just recieved facebook message from Sara. She has arrived in Kosovo.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all and we are enjoying 55 degrees today. Carlton is going to go for a ride on his motorcyle so he can say he rode on Thanksgiving day. He hasn't put in away for winter yet.

Hi, I am glad we got to see you and the rest of the cousins that were at Betty and Dwayne's anniversary. We had a good time and I think everyone else did too. So glad for Betty and Dwayne,they have really nice children and their spouses and grandchildren too. We just got (lost) sidetracked three times in their little town,and once when we left,but had fun doing it.

Hi its Connie just trying it out too. It was fun to be able to visit with cousins at Dwayne and Bettys 50th party. Such a nice party --- the kids did a great job. I will get some pictures posted later of Carley and Rubins family. On the 11th Nolan will already be 6 months old. Its t ime you all saw him. Casey and Angie are due to have their baby in a few weeks. So lots of fun in this neck of the woods.

Hello All....spread the word to everyone. Marilyn and LaVonne were here today and we are trying to make plans for next reunion. How many of you think you will come? We have checked out a few options and at this point we are back to either here or at a park. Do we want it to be just one afternoon or over several days? If several days, then our house makes sense. Maybe we could plan something like burgers and hot dogs on Friday night, breakfast on Saturday and the big meal on Saturday afternoon, tubing or Mall of America on Sunday??? I think they will firm up some of the ideas at Dwayne and Bettys next weekend so if you have an opinion and can't be at their celebration, be sure to express them soon. Helen

Hope this email finds all of you in good health and doing well. Isn't it wonderful, modern technology, that we can all communicate this way.

The children and grandchildren of Dwayne and Betty Sohl would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a 50th anniversary open house in honor of their parents. It will be held Sunday, June 26, 2011

between 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Community Center in Hudson, SD. We would be delighted to have you join us in the celebration of their lives together and to see eveyone. Chris and Jenni had their fourth baby on March 18. She was told she was having a girl the entire pregnancy so when he came out a boy we were all in for a surprise! He was born at 7:19pm and weighed 8lbs 12 oz, and was 21 1/2 in long! She named him Zayne Lee Lopez. Zayne makes the 12th grand baby I have!

I just thought I would copy and paste an email I received this morning from Claire...

Jan – just checked the link and the pictures you posted brought tears to my eyes! Sort of caught me by surprise! Thank you for setting it up.

Deb and Conrad…they welcomed a granddaughter a week ago. Her name is Paige Ellen Anderson and I hear she has reddish blonde hair. Corey’s wife has that color hair and that is Conrad’s color too so little Paige had high probability of being a red head! Corey and Andrea’s son, Alex, will be Two this week, Tuesday or Wednesday – I’ve forgotten. Grandpa says he’s a true two year old – always on the go! I enjoy watching Conrad/Debbie as grandparents – also Charles and Connie!

This is the perfect type of post to share with the extended family. Writing about everyday moments to share is what blogs are all about!

If anyone needs help posting, let me know and I will walk you through the steps!
